CURE MULTIPLE MYELOMA

SUPPORTING METRO DETROIT’S
MULTIPLE MYELOMA COMMUNITY

The mission of Cure Multiple Myeloma Corporation (CMMC) is to help build a Metro Detroit myeloma community, which can support patients and caregivers and helps fund next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend patients’ lives in pursuit of a cure.

CMMC, a 501(c)(3), is the number one private funder of multiple myeloma research in the Detroit area. We provide resources to patients, connecting them with doctors and caregivers in the metro Detroit area. In addition, our annual Wine & Dine in The D Gala raises funds for myeloma research and has grown to be the primary event for multiple myeloma in Michigan..

WINE & DINE IN THE D | 2024

Started in 2010, Wine & Dine in the D is a two-part evening that includes an educational panel discussion by prominent myeloma doctors, followed by a “Wine & Dine” gala, featuring delicious food and beverages from some of Detroit’s finest restaurants, a silent auction, live music and more. With the support of our restaurant and beverage partners and participating doctors, approximately 400 guests attend Wine & Dine in the D annually. We bring together specialists from around the country for the panel discussion and provide a platform for Metro Detroit patients to learn about groundbreaking new treatments and speak directly to these leading doctors.

This year we will once again be back at The Westin Book Cadillac on Wednesday November 6!  We will also include a virtual (and recorded) option for the multiple myeloma panel discussion.

Ask the Doctor Multiple Myeloma Discussion Series

These meetings are intimate gatherings of patients and caregivers and each features a multiple myeloma doctor to answer questions and provide important information. For 2021 and 2022, all our discussions were virtual. We are happy to say that we are returned to in-person discussions for 2023, and have in-person discussions again schedule for 2024, while still keeping a virtual component.
